We live in an era where screens dominate our daily routines—often without us realizing it. According to recent statistics, people aged 18–30 spend, on average, 7 hours online every day. If that number sounds surprisingly high, you’re not alone. The OfflinED project, funded by Erasmus+, tackles this modern challenge by encouraging young people to examine their digital habits and explore meaningful ways to reduce screen time. From April 20–28, 2025, participants from Estonia, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Portugal, and Türkiye will gather in the breathtaking Taevaskoja region of Estonia for a truly immersive youth exchange program.
If you’re curious about rethinking your relationship with technology and open to an eye-opening “offline” adventure, OfflinED might be perfect for you. You’re eligible if:
Inclusivity matters here. OfflinED welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds and encourages respectful communication that celebrates different cultures, orientations, abilities, and beliefs.
Note: This project strictly upholds a no-alcohol, no-substance rule during the entire youth exchange. It ensures a focused environment for everyone involved.
If you’ve ever wondered how to make better use of your daily seven hours online—or if you’re ready to discover what life can be like when you intentionally disconnect—OfflinED is the perfect opportunity.
